I established Happiness Through Nostalgia in February 2022. As a lifelong lover of antiques and collectibles since my student days, I have studied hard to increase my knowledge and gain expertise.
With a special love of glassware, solid silver items and collectible ceramics, I buy and sell a wide range of antique, vintage, retro and collectible pieces.
I research each item extensively to identify the date, maker and other distinguishing features. If I am unable to be 100% accurate, I will indicate as much in my item listing. I also appreciate any feedback from potential buyers - if you spot something in a listing you think might be wrong, feel free to get in touch as I’m always happy to stand corrected!

Hi, I am Andrew, the owner and operator of Happiness through Nostalgia. I buy new stock regularly and update my store with a variety of interesting antique, vintage, retro and collectible pieces.
I buy items I think will appeal to buyers, but also things I just love - I am happy to own and care for them for as long as it takes until the right buyer comes along and falls in love! In terms of pricing, I have taken the decision to offer my “best price” immediately and to keep prices consistent across my channels. I try to keep prices as low as I can and believe myself to be competitive in this regard.

I am based in the glorious county of West Yorkshire in the UK and am happy to sell and ship worldwide. If you are local and make a purchase, you have the option to collect from my Queensbury location, or shipping is available (see item listings for prices.) The only time I’m not monitoring my store and my emails is when I’m sleeping, or walking the dog (my business partner!) so please feel free to get in touch and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.

Returns and Shipping Information
All items I despatch will be tracked and signatures may be required on receipt. Items will be carefully packed - fragile items will be clearly marked and your purchase should reach you in perfect condition.
In the unlikely event that an item arrives damaged, please contact me for a refund/partial refund or exchange depending on availability.
If your item does not arrive within the timeframe expected, please get in touch so I can investigate and put things right.
If you change your mind about your purchase, you are covered in the UK by Distance Selling Regulations - return the item to me within 14 days of receiving it, undamaged, for a full refund. You will be liable for the cost of returning the item to me.
