Antique Art Nouveau Norwegian Silver Spoon Thorvald Marthinsen Sølvvarefabrikk 8

This is a stunning art nouveau spoon made in Norway by Thorvald Marthinsen Sølvvarefabrikk c1905. The spoon is 830 purity which was used from 1892 up until c1920 - the maker’s mark also helps to identify the age of the spoon as does the unmistakably art nouveau design. 
The handle of the spoon is an intricately shaped organic swirl and the bowl is decorated with a similar swirling pattern. The maker’s mark to the rear is clear. The spoon measures approx 11cm end to end.
