Antique Art Nouveau Silver Handled Letter Opener Paper Knife Continental Sterlin

This is a beautiful antique paper knife/letter opener with a sterling silver handle in a gorgeous art nouveau design. The silver handle is marked as Sterling and is continental (possibly French or Scandinavian) and dates to c 1905.
The silver handle is in very good condition and the knife/opener itself is tarnished with age. A lovely decorative piece which is nonetheless still usable.
Measures approx 16.5cm end to end.
