Antique Late Victorian Doulton Lambeth Stoneware Jug

This is an attractive late Victorian Doulton Lambeth stoneware jug which is coloured in cobalt blue and tan with a basket weave texture to the lower tan section. It is nicely and attractively decorated and is a stylish piece which would look good in any home. 
It is a heavy and high quality piece which bears the maker’s mark for Doulton Lambeth c1891-1900. The jug is approx 19cm tall and 13cm across. The rim has some glaze loss but it doesn’t appear to be chipped - possibly this was always in this condition from firing. In any case, it does not detract from the appeal of this antique piece.
