Vintage Royal Doulton Jester Small Miniature Character Jug c1950s

This is an exquisitely modelled Royal Doulton Character in the form of a medieval court jester in his funny hat. 
The jug is in very good condition. It measures approx 8cm tall and bears the mid century makers’ mark for Royal Doulton to the base.
