Vintage Whitefriars Tangerine Bark Textured Glass Bowl Geoffrey Baxter

This is a superb quality glass bowl in tangerine bark textured glass designed by Geoffrey Baxter for Whitefriars in the 1960s. Extremely high quality crystal glass in the beautiful and distinctive tangerine colour, this bowl catches the light beautifully from many angles and is a collectible and sought after piece.
Diameter is approx 12.5cm and stands approx 5cm high. Condition is very good with a couple of nibbles to the glass on the inside rim - it is unusual to find one of these bowls without similar imperfections now as they were often used as ash trays and had a harder life than the vases! Still absolutely stunning!
